The answer is of course Liverpool, who capped off a memorable, albeit disappointing on a domestic level, season with their first European trophy since they famously won both the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup in 2005. Finally, what was the scoreline?

Correct! Wrong!

The game finished 2-0, and was bookended by two Liverpool goals. Salah scored the opener after an early penalty was awarded for handball, whilst Origi capped off the evening with a late goal to seal the win. Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk was awarded man of the match for his efforts.

The final was contested in Baku, Azerbaijan and if the TV coverage was anything to go by, the atmosphere was nowhere near what we have come to expect in European club competitions.
